Hello fiber friends!

For any of you who are watching the Game of Wool (special thanks to VPNs and YouTube for those of us outside of the UK!) and want to know what knits (and crochet) pieces the contestants are wearing in each episode, I'm scouring the internet so you don't have to!

For those I couldn't find the exact pattern, I've included links to similar patterns in case you want to cast on another project:

Coming in with another stunning vintage pattern, this week Ailsa wore a 1950's sweater: Soft as a Spider pattern. I'm ready for the next spooky season!

I originally thought this was handmade, but after a thorough internet deep dive, it seems like it may actually be the Roman Contrast Ombre Stripe Fluffy Jumper. Like many others, I loved the color choice and still tried to find some patterns that may work: Baume by Le Style Knitting (larger stripes that could likely be adjusted Deima's Air Blouse by Nanna Burmeister (stripes the wrong way, but similar more summery vibe that would look great with an ombre)

I nearly went blind trying to find this cable pattern (thanks, black yarn). From what I could zoom into, there are several vertical twists and some sort of rectangle design in between - hats off to whomever figures this out, but my guess it isn't a Holger original.

Another hard one to find, I was only able to source some similar inspiration patterns (and I suspect the yarn did the striping for him!): Moon Set Polo by Hailey Smedley Miller by Kim Hargreaves Perfect Polo by Hinterm Stein (if you prefer a bit more texture)

Lydia's sweater this week was a great staple - the Tendreil Sweater pattern by The Knit Purl Girl!

Meadow brought us another crochet cardi this episode. For a similar knit version, take a look at the Pastel Colossal Knit Cardigan. I wasn't able to find a crochet version, but she is a fashion design student so there is a good chance this is her own design.

Once again, Simon didn't wear a knit or crochet piece! Maybe third episode is the charm....

If you have a knack for bead placements or are prepared to do the math, Stephanie's cardigan looks similar to the REBEL cardigan by ANKESTRiCK.

Tracy came in with another shawl this week. This time it was the Aurora Cabin Shawl by Stephen West!
